This practice uses two forms of HIPAA compliant platforms for teletherapy purposes. These are doxy.me and Google Meet.
No need to download software or create an account. Just use a browser on a computer or device with a camera and microphone. Just click on the link provided by your therapist and it will take you to their personalized room. They will start the call with you and you will be able to join them for a video call. All data is encrypted, patient sessions are anonymous (we don’t know who you are) and no patient info is stored persistently. We use the AES cipher with 128-bit keys to encrypt audio/video, and HMAC-SHA1 to verify data integrity.
Google Meet video meetings are encrypted in transit and our array of default-on anti-abuse measures keep your meetings safe. Your therapist will email you a link to access the meeting room prior to your session. You simply click on the link and it will take you to your personalized room.
