Betty Rygiewicz, RN, LMFT, SAC, ACST – Supervisor Mentor
Betty Rygiewicz is Amanda’s supervisor mentor under her AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidacy. Betty’s earned her bachelor’s degree as a Registered Nurse in 1974 from UW-Madison. Her primary focus from 1974-1984 was on community psychiatric nursing. In 2003 she received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Edgewood College in Madison. She has been licensed since 2006 with a focus on children, teens, adults, couples, families with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and LGBTQIA issues.
In 2008, Betty became certified as an AAMFT-approved supervisor. In 2015 she was trained as an Infant Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist able to treat children from 0-5 with trauma issues. Also in 2017 Betty became licensed as a Substance Abuse Counselor and an AASECT certified sex therapist.
